Cherepovets Casting & Mechanical Plant

OAO Cherepovets Casting & Mechanical Plant (formerly known as Repair & Mechanical Plant) was founded in 1951 to provide spare parts and tailored machinery for civil engineering and industry. The plant was reconstructed in 1999 with commissioning of new facilities. Today the plant comprises two foundries, two machine shops, steel structures shop and tractors & special vehicles assembly shop.
Nowadays the plant supplies its machinery products to almost all biggest iron & steel making companies, steel rolling works, machine building and motor plants in Russia and CIS. These products are mostly centrifugal-cast tubes and items manufactured from such tubes.
The plant possesses two state-of-art induction furnaces supplied by INDUCTOTHERM (USA), two horizontal and one vertical centrifugal casting machines supplied by ССМ (USA). This state-of-art imported equipment enables manufacturing of fine precision products from large variety of alloyed steels and alloys.

Production of tractors

Tractors and special vehicles assembly shop

New machine building is being dynamically developed under diversification strategy in the plant.
In December 2009 there was commissioned a new shop for tractors and special vehicles assembling. The plant produces a large variety of vehicles for paving and municipal needs using Russian and Ukrainian know-how. The first telescope crane mounted on Belarus 92P-CH tractor was assembled in Cherepovets Casting & Mechanical Plant in July 2010. In September 2010 Cherepovets Plant was licensed by Minsk Tractor Plant for assembling tractor equipment with 1500 annual capacity vehicles.
